Fishing is our focus but a fishing kayak doesn't have to be used only for fishing. A fishing kayak typically has a more comfortable seat, heightened stability, better storage, and ways of attaching accessories. The SS107/SS127 doesn't come with any rod holder but includes several feet of YakAttack GearTrac. This accessory track can be used to attach camera mounts, cup holders, phone holders, BueTooth speakers, etc. We have many customers who purchased the SS Series and have no intention to go fishing. The seat is higher than most other kayaks on the market and they wanted to feel comfortable while floating the river with their family. For a more recreational driven kayak the Bonafide RS117 or EX123 would be worth looking at. They are solid fishing kayaks, but also great recreational kayaks.
